Job Description
We are currently looking for a Senior Systems Engineer in Knoxville, TN for our PET System and Test Engineering team within Molecular Imaging. This role will be responsible for the elaboration of customer requirements for medical imaging devices and applications into detailed system level requirements, and the allocation of those requirements into new and existing SW architectures. The Systems Engineer will develop and maintain the physical and functional interface specifications between major software subsystems, and software and hardware subsystems. This role will also monitor the development and integration of novel software architectures and technologies into our product and develop and execute system integration test specifications for new software feature content. Qualifed candidates must have the following: ** Bachelors degree in Science, preferrably with a concentration in SW architecture ** Demonstrated success driving projects across a cross-functional team of experts in the electro/mechanical field **Strong communication skills both written and verbal **Solid project management skills with demonstrated experience driving project schedules successfully **3+ yrs of system engineering experience to include requirements engineering and cascading is desired **3+ yrs medical device industry experience in a federally regulated environment is strongly preferred. **3+ yrs experience safety regulation experience is a plus
